RainFurrest 2015 Dealers Den Terms of Agreement

To be a Dealer:
You need to be 18+ years old with a valid Washington State Tax ID and Membership to RainFurrest 2015, agree to the RainFurrest Conduct Policy and agree to the RainFurrest Dealers Den Terms of Agreement.
To be an Assistant:
You need to be 18+ years old with a Membership to RainFurrest 2015 and agree to the RainFurrest Conduct Policy and agree to the RainFurrest Dealers Den Terms of Agreement.
To share a table with another Dealer (Secondary Dealer):
You need to be 18+ years old with a valid Washington State Tax ID and Membership to RainFurrest 2015, agree to the RainFurrest Conduct Policy and agree to the RainFurrest Dealers Den Terms of Agreement. The dealer you are sharing the table will need to accept full responsibility for you, your actions, and taxes.
General Conduct:
We expect our dealers and their assistant to treat each other and the members of the Convention with the utmost respect and to follow the rules set forth in the Conduct Policy and the RainFurrest Dealers Den Terms of Agreement Please remember that all terms of the Conduct Policy still apply within the Dealers Den.
Assistants:
All assistants must be registered as members at RainFurrest. Assistants must also be registered with the Dealers Den as assistants for the particular dealer they will be working with. Only a Primary Dealer may register assistants for themselves or any Secondary Dealers selling at their table.
Badging Policy:
In addition to the RainFurrest badge, Dealers and Assistants will be issued a ribbon which grants access to the Dealers Den. To be behind a table or in the Dealers Den during setup hours, you MUST have one of these ribbons on your badge. You cannot trade ribbons, but if you require additional ribbons for additional assistants, please let us know. If you do not have a ribbon and are found behind a table, you will be asked to leave the Dealer's Den.
Hotel:
Dealers are responsible, within reason, for any damage to hotel property and/or equipment loaned to them due to inappropriate use. Hotel property and equipment may not be modified in any way, including but not limited to: Holes, chips, paint, glue or damage due to rough or inappropriate behavior. RainFurrest or Hilton® Seattle Airport & Conference Center are not liable for any personal injury or damage to equipment or property caused by the inappropriate use of hotel equipment, such as falling while standing on a chair or table. Please use provided equipment responsibly.
Posting of Signs & Display Rules:
Use of the space provided is up to the Dealer, but certain restrictions apply. Each Dealer is restricted to the use of the space on top of and immediately behind their table. Side stands may be permitted, but only with approval of the Dealers Den Lead. You may not encroach on your neighbor's space (including neighbors behind you) without their permission. Please be courteous. Displays that include lights (including videos with no sound) are permitted as long as they do not annoy your fellow dealers and/or attendees and are not strobe lights or similar. Dealers may only post items on the walls and floor using materials approved by Hilton® Seattle Airport & Conference Center. Specifically, only gaff tape may be used on the floor, and only painter's tape may be used on the walls. You are responsible for any damages you incur by hanging items on the walls. Nothing may be hung on any door frames; doors themselves are reserved for dealers den use.
You cannot sell or display:
These include, but are not limited to: personal services (tattooing, body piercing and similar), unlicensed/bootleg merchandise, food and/or drink of any sort, flammable/incendiary items other than candles, torches, helpers and incense sticks, firearms. Please note that candles, incense, etc. may NOT be lit for demonstration purposes. Scents and perfumes may be limited if the smells are overbearing and affecting other attendees. Any items for which the possession, sale, or crossing of state boundaries constitutes a criminal act are prohibited in the Dealers Den. Prohibitions enacted in the State of Washington, King County or the City of SeaTac also apply.
I sell adult items:
If you are selling adult items (this includes drawings of PG13+ and BDSM items, etc.) you agree that it is your responsibility to ensure that minors (those with an "under 18" badge) do not have access to any adult items. This can be done by checking their badge before allowing attendee to look at any said item. Anything on display (visible to people near your table) must be PG-13 rated. This may include the use of stickers in appropriate areas. Other materials may be shown to specific people provided you have checked their badge to ensure they are of legal age. Adult items can be (but are not limited to) items which contain exposed genitalia or representations of genitalia, depict a sexual act; depict realistic violence where the victim is shown to be seriously injured; depict any other content that makes it unsuitable for minors according to state law.
Additional Rules:
Additional Rules: You may not give your dealers table to another person, even if you cannot attend the convention. RainFurrest reserves the sole right to approve dealers for the Dealer Den. You may not appoint an agent to sell your items in the Dealers Den. Only the person who is registered for the table and their registered assistants may sell at the table. You are not allowed to sell outside the Dealers Den under any circumstances. You also may not sell before or after Dealers Den business hours.
Clean Up:
Please remember during cleanup on Sunday to clean the area around your table. Please pick up trash, collapse boxes and put them by the trash, etc.
Violations and Appeals:
The RainFurrest Dealers Den is part of the RainFurrest convention space; as such, violations of conduct which fall under the Conduct Policy will be handled as indicated in that policy. Violation of the Dealers Den Terms of Agreement will be handled by the Dealers Den Staff as deemed appropriate. If necessary, general remedies spelled out in the Conduct Policy may also be applied.
