Charity events

Rainfurrest chooses a charity every year to help raise funds for. Every year Rainfurrest along with having donation boxes has events such as our Charity auction to raise funds for the years chosen charity.

Rabbit Meadows

Rabbit Meadows was originally founded in 1989 as the House Rabbit Society of Washington. In 1996 we moved into a commercial building on Lake City Way in Seattle, where we added Guinea Pigs, Rats, Hamsters and other Rodents to our rescue. In 2008 we relocated our shelter back to our original location on Union Hill, leaving our retail store at the Lake City Way location. All proceeds from the store sales going to our rescue efforts.

We are currently in the process of building a two-story permanent shelter on our Redmond property. With the completion of this shelter, we will have the space to hold educational events, house additional rescue animals and we plan on opening a rabbit, guinea pig & rat spay/neuter clinic for low income individuals.

Charity Auction

Our charity auction features things that our staff and attendees have donated or collected for donation. The auction sells all the items with all profit going to the charity.
