Join in the fun as Rainfurrest returns to the Seatac Marriott on September 24-26, 2010! This year, our Rainfurrest Cougar has committed us to the goal, before the year is out, of landing a fur on the moon and returning him or her safely to the fandom. It may be loony, but we're determined. Fail is not an option.
Rainfurrest is proud to bring anthropomorphic arts and entertainment fans from all over the world to America's Pacific Northwest, together in celebration of each other. This event is all about you, the furry fan. Register today! This Rainfurrest is going to be one for the books.
This year's charity is Northwest Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. We will be having a charity auction on Sunday, but some of the leadership has put their faces on the line for the charity. Yes, we said their faces. You will find at the con store jars with Gene's, North's, Trapa's, and Aloha's names on them. The person with the most money raised will get hit in the face with a pie. After closing ceremonies, we will tell you who won, and the person that volunteers the most hours at the convention will have the honor of the placing the pie in the face.
We bet you're thinking, "Hey! I can't come this year but would like to donate. How can I?"
Option 1: Send a check or money order, as well as a note as to whose jar you want it in, to:
117 East Louisa St
Seattle, WA 98102
Option 2: You can use Paypal:

Our registration team is now working on finalizing the important gate entry procedures and we look forward to seeing all of you at the Marriott, September 24th-26th.

Second Life Social
Get together in Real Life with those folks you’ve been chatting with in Second Life, and meet some new friends. If you have a badge with your character and if you have a picture you would like to send us, we will be running a digital projector and computer on the wall to show the people who we have. Send all pictures (G or PG only, please) to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you have any questions, you can use that e-mail or contact Dusk Goodnight or Dragonfly Goodnight on SL.
Live Model Workshop
We will be having two live (human) models for our artists. This workshop will be Friday night (male model) and Saturday Night (female model). You must be at least 18 years old as well as have government issued photo ID and be an attending member of Rainfurrest to register. At the time of the panel, you will need to have your photo ID with you. There are only 12 slots available, so register quickly! Once the door shuts, there will be no leaving until the hour is up. Please check the grid online and in your pocket program for the times and location. You may register by e-mailing email@example.com
Furry High Tea
This is the time where Rainfurrest is going to honor the women of furry fandom. We want to ensure that the women of the fandom get the recognition they deserve. On Saturday from 4:00pm to 5:30pm, we will be closing the Patron Lounge and throwing a "Furry High Tea" in order to show the women of furry how much we respect and cherish them. This event is hosted by Gene Armstrong and Alex James Adams.
